Private Airport Transfers

Costa Blanca Rentals can offer two choices when it comes to transfers from the Airport to your chosen accommodation.

Please read each section carefully before making your choice.

Private Transfers with a British Driver

Our vehicles can accommodate between 1 and 9 passengers plus luggage.

All drivers are native English speakers and know the area well.

Our drivers will keep you entertained during the journey to your accommodation, pointing out places of interest etc.

Costs:

Up to 4 people plus luggage from either Alicante or Murcia Airports - 40 Euro each way.

For each additional person up to a maximum of 9, please add 10 Euro each way.

How To Book Your Transfers:

When you receive your accommodation Booking Form, tick the box to request Airport Transfers. We will confirm by email.

If you have already sent back the Booking Form, simply email us with your Transfer request and we will again confirm by email.

Details of Airport Meeting Points and of your driver will be issued shortly after receipt of your balance payment for your accommodation.

Airport Transfer costs are payable directly to your driver.

Transfers with a Spanish Driver

In business since 1979, Shuttle Direct operate a private transfer service from both Alicante and Murcia Airports direct to our properties.

All drivers and vehicles are fully insured under both EU and Spanish legislation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: One of our party is disabled and has a wheelchair. Can we use the shuttleDirect service?
A: Yes, there is no problem, we cater for disabled travellers too. Just advise us on the booking form that there is somebody travelling with a wheelchair.

Q: Can you advise the mode of transport on offer?
A: Depending on the size of your party and the airport of arrival. Minibus and coaches are used for big parties. Small groups (1 to 4 people) travel by taxi transfer. We reserve the right to modify the mode of transportation.

Q: Is it cheaper for babies and children?
A: No, unfortunately we have to charge for all occupied seats.

Q: We will need to stop and pick up our apartment keys at a key collection office. Can we continue to the apartments?
A: Yes, there is no problem for a BRIEF stop to collect keys (5 minutes maximum).

Q: If our flight is delayed, will the coach be waiting for us?
A: Yes, we monitor flight arrival times to be waiting for you as you arrive. Private transfers depart the moment you present yourself to the driver. Shared transfers will depart on the next available transfer.

Q: Can you tell me what times the normal shuttle runs from Alicante Airport?
A: Private transfer- your vehicle will normally be at the airport for the scheduled arrival of your flight. Shared shuttle transfer- Where flights arrived on time, we aim to leave the airport within 30 minutes of meeting your driver.

Q: What happens if I can´t find my driver at the airport?
A: Call the 24h emergency telephone you will receive with your booking confirmation, and you will be directed to your driver.

Q: I have lost my luggage, can you collect it for me later?
A: All the airlines have handling agents. They will organize for any luggage to be forwarded to your resort address.

Q: I have lots of baggage
A: Each passenger has an allowance of two pieces of baggage (one suitcase and one golf bag or two suitcases). See Terms & Conditions for further details. For extra baggage, or special baggage (bikes, special sports equipment etc.) please contact us.

Q: How do I meet my driver at the airport.
A: On completing your booking you will automatically receive a screen confirmation and an email giving instructions for meeting your driver.

Q: What currency are your rates in?
A: Our currency is expressed in EUR (euros)

Q: How long will our transfer take?
A: We do not indicate the time it takes to get to destination as it varies depending on traffic conditions. We do give you an indication of the distance in Kilometres.
